Hello!
I have become a celebrant after 25-years working both as a lecturer and jewellery specialist. My happiest days in jewellery involved hearing my client’s stories and helping them realise their vision at an important life event. Lecturing also taught me the importance of communicating in an open, engaging, and entertaining way. I also learned crowd control and you would be surprised how useful that is.
Being a celebrant brings these skills together as I help couples and families make a unique event that reflects their values, personalities, and journey. It is extremely important to me to listen and spend time with you to ensure that we create a warm and relaxed ceremony that fits you. The journey can be great fun with many laughs, tears, cups of tea and the odd hug. I am also sensitive to doing this in a way that is non-religious while being respectful and inclusive to everybody.
A little about me: I am married with three teenage children and a wonderful aging black Labrador. Outside of work, you will generally find me at the cinema, enjoying my (wine) book club, listening to music or out running. My home is in North Dublin and happy to travel around two hours for your event.
Thank you for considering me to be part of your day.
